| We were called in on an emergency as a Nor’easter had completely ripped the roof from the upper level of the Fire Company roof on about 50% or a 4000 sq. ft built-up roofing system. Temporary cover was done by others. As the afternoon temperatures were around 40 degrees, we had a window in March to install a self adhered Modified Bitumen Roofing System. The very finest we can offer is the Certainteed 3 Ply SBS Mod. Bit. This roofing system affords 6 ply stress point and flashing system, a very formidable application. |

| First we had to remove the old roof and dispose of debris. Then the rotting substrate had to be repaired. |

| The Nail Base is of great significance, especially with the high wind speeds of the area. |

| The SA (Self Adhering) Mid Ply sticks like super glue to the Nail Base. |

| The Cap Sheet also sticks and all layers seam very well under the 70 lb. roller. |

| A perimeter of mechanically fastened .032” Aluminum Drip Edging was primed with Asphalt Primer and sealed fast to the Mid Ply. The Cap Sheet finished off the job. |
